Which Japanese is this?

This is standard Japanese (ja-JP), the Tokyo-based variety of media, work, and most courses. Kansai and other dialects are real; they are not this audio. You will see kana and kanji in the sentences you practise, because that is how Japanese is written.

Who it is for

Beginners, anime-first learners who want to speak, and people preparing a trip or a job. If you have completed a kana chart and still cannot say “this is delicious” without looking it up, the missing piece is sentence practice with audio.
