Which German is this?

The course is Standard German as used in Germany (de-DE): Hochdeutsch you will hear in news, workplaces, and most classrooms. Austrian and Swiss varieties are close; this audio is German. Spelling is modern German, including ß where Germany still uses it.

Who it is for

People moving for work or study, family in Germany, or learners who bounced off der/die/das charts. You can start from zero. You can also restart if you “did German at school” and cannot ask for the bill.
